Rite in Gold
The initiation, restruck as a deco poster — gold figures on Pompeiian red.
What
The initiation sequence reimagined as a 1930s luxury poster: robed figures in a golden frieze around a ceremonial cup.
Why
An original work of the house atelier — the rite as the age of the great lithograph poster would have advertised it.
Notice
Every figure is gold leaf; every ground is the villa’s red.
“The oldest rite, on the newest wall.”
